Brief History

Superior Sandwiches is a family-run business based in Widnes. Established at the home of Graham and Karen Whitley in February 1993, the business has grown into the reputable sandwich company it is today.

The main aim of the company is to provide a fresh, enjoyable product to its customers at a time convenient for them at their workplace or home.

Using home-baked bread and freshly prepared fillings, the quality of the sandwiches, salads, hot breakfast sandwiches and business lunches are second-to-none.

Fleet of 14 vans operated by friendly, smartly uniformed staff, cover a wide area including Widnes, Runcorn, St. Helens, Warrington, Prescot, Penketh, Stockton Heath, Preston Brook, Daresbury, Speke, Walton, Halebank and Ditton.

They arrive at the same companies at approximately the same time daily
providing an extensive range of food and cold drinks.

In April 2006 the business moved to purpose-built premises in Waterloo
Road, West Bank, Widnes, to expand and also improve customer service.

The building comprises a newstate-of-the-art bakery, a large sandwich
preparation area with walk in refrigerated cold rooms, loading bay,
offices and large car park area for easy loading of delivery vehicles.
